Great well-thought-out shades

These glasses, Radians Remington T-85 Interchangeable 5 Lens Kit, are like having 5 pair of various colored sun / shooting glasses available to you whenever you want them. They are made by a company that, from all appearances, makes other quality sporting goods and accessories; [...] I do not hesitate in the slightest to recommend these glasses to others. They are very versatile, and have both length and tilt adjustments for maximum comfort. The lens clarity is great and displays very little distortion, even on the sides. The carrying case is well thought out and provides a lens carrier that separates the other four lenses not in use. Overall it arrives in a very convenient and user-friendly configuration.

Changing out the lens for another color is quite simple if you follow the included directions. It does take a bit of hand strength to do the switch out, at least at first. The lenses are quite stout while the frame is quite flexible and strong. Also, because of the various adjustments and overall design, these glasses appear to fit quite well over regular, corrected glasses.

Not mentioned in any literature is the fact that these lens are all UV protective lenses. I was informed of this when I contacted the manufacturer asking that specific question. All in all, I'm quite happy with the purchase of these glasses and hope to get many years of service out of them.

I really wanted to like these, but

Reasonably well designed, but the clamshell packaging causes problems. I ordered a set and discovered on arrival that the gray lens, which I use the most, was scratched from rubbing on the inside of the clamshell. I arranged a return and replacement (which arrived promptly) and unfortunately the same condition existed on the replacement gray lens as well. If anything, it was worse. The worst part is the scratches were exactly centered on the field of vision.

So, if the manufacturer were to add a protective layer inside the hard clamshell, these might be worth another try. For the price they're good, although I'm concerned that if they scratch from the packaging, what will happen with long term use. Then again, for the price, what can you expect?

Great Value

These glasses are a great addition to any range bag. With the variety of lenses to choose from you will never need another pair of shooting glasses again. Thay are easy to carry with the included lens pouches and it is easy to switch out the lenses quickly. Highly recommend these for any shooter of any skill level.
