Manufacturer’s Specs:

This camera offers clear photos – color during the day and infrared at night – up to 5.0 megapixels, depending on which of the three settings you choose. The D-55IR game camera also delivers quality video with its two resolution settings. Daytime capture can be set for 5, 15 or 30 seconds, while the 10 second shots at night will help you scout game to find the best spot.

Its rapid response time helps ensure you get the shot right away and the 50-foot flash throw will more than cover the camera’s field of view. The settings allow you to take up to three shots at a time in up to five second intervals – allowing you to detect movement that might be missed in a single shot.

Moultrie made it easy to pass along your digital photos and video; the D-55IR digital game camera can handle up to a 16GB SD card (the kind in many popular point-and-shoot cameras) letting you soak up a season’s worth of audio and video at any setting.

It’s easy to identify game patterns, making sure this game camera imprints an info clip on each shot, showing time, date, temperature, moon phase and even tell you which game camera it is, in case you have more than one. There’s also a USB slot to transfer images and video right from the game camera to computer and a TV out slot.

The D-55IR digital game camera is designed for the outdoors. The D-55IR camera’s camouflage design blends into the surroundings, while the casing is weather-resistant and air-tight. The camera is easy to attach to a poll or tree using the mounting strap (Moultrie® recommends 36” high).
