I bought this holster a couple years ago to carry and protect my scoped Ruger Super Redhawk .44 with a 7.5″ barrel. It is a sturdy, comfortable to wear holster that provides good protection for my investment. The padded over the shoulder strap makes the holster easy to carry and you don’t the tendency of your pants falling down as you do with the belt mounted holsters.

Padding inside the holster protects the gun and scope, with a nice secure fit. The flap shield is nice to keep snow & rain out also, and it fastens with a snap, not cheap noisy Velcro. I really like the holster overall and would buy again. Only thing that would be nice to see is a less noisy exterior – the holster is Cordura which is a little loud when a twigs smacks against it.
