Outdoorsman Review:

I have been looking for a peep sight for quite some time. Some of the peep sights I have had in the past would rob me of arrow speed, make my bow look cluttered with rubber tubes or prevent me from aquiring my target.

When I seen the String Splitter I immediately knew that this was going to be my next peep sight. This peep sight claims to increase my field of view by 100%, allow 99.9% of available light through and provides much clearer target aquisition. This all sounded too good to be true and I spent many hours researching what other people thought of this new peep. The reviews on this product were actually difficult to find and the ones I managed to find were hit and miss.

I finally decided to purchase one and opted for the 3/16 peep since it was considerably smaller than the other versions. After getting it installed I got home and it was a bit too late to shoot arrows but then I thought about the reasons that made this particular peep unique. I scrambled to get my target and arrows before I lost all available sunlight. After my first shot I knew this peep was special, it was in the final minutes of light and was becoming hard to see. My last peep was a 3/16 G5 Meta and when these light conditions festered I would have a very difficult time finding the target. With the string splitter I found my target right away without looking all over the place. I was truly amazed at the advantages this peep has over the others and ended up shooting arrows past dark. Yes that is right, I shot arrows after dark, believe me I would have never been able to do that with my Meta and my groups in pitch black were comparable to noon. Everything they say about this peep is true and I highly recommend it for hunting but I also have to warn you. If you are looking for the utmost level of accuracy and light is of no concern to you, then this is probably not the peep for you. This sight can be as accurate as any but it doesn’t circle around your pins like 3D target shooters would prefer.
