Manufacturer’s Specs for the Black Ice FLX:

The 2010 Black Ice FLX  improves its namesake by the addition of the FLX-Guard™, a cable containment system which addresses the tuning effects of high cable tension on today’s premium bows. Draw your bow and the FLX-Guard™ flexes inward to absorb cable guard torque that normally transfers to the riser. Black Ice FLX advanced engineering and design delivers slick speed with absolute minimal hand shock and noise.

  • Brace height: 7-1/4 inches
  • Axle to axle: 31-3/4 inches
  • Draw length: 25 – 30 inches
  • Draw weights: 50, 60, & 70 pounds
  • IBO speed: 310 – 318 feet per second
  • Kinetic energy: 78.6 foot-pounds
  • Let-off: 65% to 80%

FLX Guard™

The new FLX-Guard™ cable containment system addresses the tuning effects of extreme cable tension and inflexible cable guards found on today’s bows. As the bow is drawn, the FLX-Guard™ responds by flexing inward, absorbing much of the cable guard torque that would have otherwise been transferred to the riser. The result is substantial reduction in lateral nock travel, yielding a real advancement in tune-ability, forgiveness and accuracy.

Rotating Module

Unlike most bows on the market today, Diamond bows do not require a new cam or module to set your draw length. Simply remove the mod screws, rotate the module, and re-tighten. At least six inches of draw length adjustment is available on most models, allowing for custom draw length tuning for yourself or others.

Available with the optional Timberline accessory package

  • 5-Pin Fiber Optic Sight
  • Hostage Capture Arrow Rest
  • Camo 4-arrow Twist-Release Quiver
  • Braided Wrist Sling
  • Tube Peep Sight
  • 4 inch Stabilizer

InVelvet™ finish

You must feel the difference to believe it. The bow is actually soft to the touch, insulates hands from cold winter weather, dampens noise and protects from dings and scratches. Unaffected by common chemicals such as insect repellents or scent sprays, it is the most durable over-coating on the market.
